Shine Gopal is the Founder of IMark Global – a venture development company that creates innovative ventures. He’s also the Founding Chairman of Marketnext.org a global ecosystem for entrepreneurship and innovation with chapters in 15 countries. The ecosystem provides practical support to help ambitious businesses and startups to expand their Indian / global reach. Hi Shine, can you tell us a bit more about how you are using Strategy Tools in your work?

After going through the Building Innovation Superclusters report by Strategy Tools, our team got more insights about innovation superclusters and their importance.
The report was comprehensive and authoritative about Superclusters in the Indian context. The report, as well as Christian Rangan’s inputs, were the source of information, inspiration and support structure behind the inception of the Innovation Supercluster Development Council (ISDC) which we had formed in India recently.

What do you expect to get out of the partnership long-term?

We would like to bring Strategy Tools’ & Engage//Innovate’s offerings (Services, Solutions & Tools) to India through IMark. With the support of Strategy Tools, we are looking at creating an innovation superhighway between India & Europe, to cooperate in the latest tools, technologies, research & open innovation/collaborations.
Our new social organization ISDC is geared to create the First Supercluster initiative in India which aims to create various futuristic industries and develop State level and National Level superclusters, innovation parks, venture development initiatives and take an active role in our Prime Minister’s vision to make India a $5 Trillion dollar economy.
