“How are global partners creating impact with Strategy Tools? How can they deliver new types of programs, projects and services? How can they expand their client portfolio and revenue streams with Strategy Tools?”

These were some of the questions we wanted to explore in the two-day Global Partner Success Summit.

The first half of 2021 has been a challenging period for many partners and their clients. Many had hopes for early openings and the return to in-person work, only to see these plans being pushed back time and time again. Notably, partners in South Africa, Latin America and Asia have seen renewed waves and restrictions get in the way of the most well laid plans.

At the same time, many partners have been able to pivot and adapt extremely well. Today, it is perfectly normal to see partners based in Italy deliver high impact projects in China, Austria and the U.S., often on the same day. While partners in Europe may deliver multiple national projects, all from the comforts of their now well-used home offices.

Similarly, many partners have been branching out, testing new service areas, stepping into innovation clusters, executive education programs or taking on their first paid Scale Up Coach projects.

Nir, getting started on cluster work in Israel, or Javier establishing a Mexican version of Scale Up Coach, are just two examples of how the global clusters are learning and adapting to new market opportunities.

Over the two days, we were able to bring together key people from across the global community. On day one, we spent seven hours deep diving into the Scale Up! simulation, using the brand-new energy case. Complete with a new case, new company cards, new investor cards and a new canvas, the Outcome Canvas, we were able to both test, learn and collaborate across geographies and backgrounds.

One team had a Norwegian startup CEO and Javier Sevilla (MX), while another had Jona (US) and Jessica, from the German development bank DEG.

In this Post-Summit Report, you can read more about the many cases, experiences, perspectives and key take-aways from the Strategy Tools Partner Success Summit. Download the report here, and learn about many new business opportunities to grow into an even more active member of the rapidly growing global community.
