The Challenge
How can Innovation Norway better support scale ups, notably with a focus on developing the overall investor landscape?
Today, Norway and Norwegian scaleups are raising significantly less funding than their international peers. Overall, the Nordic funding ecosystem is far behind hot spots like Berlin and London.
How can Innovation Norway develop large-scale system-level change in overall scale up capabilities and investor funding for scale ups?
The Solution
Working closely with the team at Strategy Tools, Innovation Norway has trained and certified a number of facilitators in the Strategy Tools methodology.
This includes custom development, translations, advanced-level training programs, software implementation and more.
In December 2019, Innovation Norway ordered five customized Scale Up! simulation kits to be deployed across the organization, with local trainers certified to use them in action.
